Wonderful Professional People
Where would we be without these wonderful Professional people that now afford us a choice? These days there are very few words that can not be incorporated into a civil ceremony.
A Civil Celebrant is registered, authorized and trained to design and conduct a civil ceremony. Registration provides the legal authority to practice as a marriage celebrant.
Once registered (or authorized as it is also known), the marriage celebrant can marry couples in virtually any location (e.g. beach, headland, boat etc) and at any time of the day or night. The celebrant is responsible for processing and lodging all legal paperwork and registration of the marriage in accordance with defined procedures.
A civil ceremony can be as individual as you are. There are very few things that can not be incorporated into a civil ceremony. Civil celebrants are now performing many of the former traditional religious ceremonies and will conduct, Memorial Services, Pet funerals, House Warming's, Boat Naming, Engagements, Rites of Passage and many more.
As described above your wedding can take place almost anywhere and at any time day/night. Your only requirement is to certify that the Celebrant you choose is legally registered by having them show you their registered number.
Many Celebrants have a garden setting they have specially prepared for such an occasion, or you may simply wish to "hire" them to perform the ceremony for you at a different location.
